Ho, ho, Hogwarts, my friends!
Ages ago this blog post by the lovely Jay from Jay xo Blogs popped up on our twitter feed and I sent it to J. and said “I don’t care what you are saying, we’re doing this.” and she was in anyway because we both grew up with the story and love Harry Potter. Jay herself didn’t tag us because she has no clue we exist BUT she said anyone could do it and we should tag her, so here you go 😉 Originally the tag was created by Danielle from The Introverted Book Nerd.
What house are you in?
S.: I just retook the test on Pottermore and I am a Slytherin. I used to be a Slytherin years ago (when Pottermore wasn’t as extra af as it is now) and that is what I personally think I am as well. I literally refuse to be considered anything else. Not after spending 25 pounds on my Slytherin pillow when I went to the Harry Potter studio tour 😀
J.: Apparently university didn’t tell me yet that I’m super intelligent but Pottermore says I’m in Ravenclaw.
What is your Patronus?
S.: Apparently a mountain hare? But that is literally so not me. I like to think it’d be a wolf or a bear.
J.: uuuuh my Patrons is a wild rabbit! I like that! 🙂
What is your wand?
S.: “Red wood with a phoenix feather core, 12 ¾’’ and supple flexibility” (god bless Pottermore, I wouldn’t have any idea)
J.: “Larch wood with a phoenix feather core, 11″ and rigid flexibility“ (hope I won’t break it :D)
What would your Boggart be?
S.: A dementor. And if we’re talking about something of the muggle world.. a spider or any crawly animal.
J.: Same, but with something from the muggle world it would be a massive shark swimming towards me.
What position would you play in Quidditch?
S.: I used to play football/soccer and I was the goalkeeper and did a decent job, so I’d say keeper.
J.: I don’t know if I would be good at it, but I would like to be a seeker.
Would you be a pure blood, a half blood or a muggle born?
S.: I think half-blood but I don’t know why.
J.: half-blood or muggle born I guess.
What job would you have after graduating Hogwarts?
S: Is there a science concerning the development of spells? I’d do that.
J.: I would be a teacher in Hogwarts. Never leave Hogwarts 😀
Which of the Deathly Hallows would you choose?
S.: The invisibility cloak.
J.: Definitely same.
S: The Prisoner of Azkaban.
J.: The goblet of fire is the best!
Least favourite book?
S.: I enjoyed all of them, but if I had to choose I think it would be the Half-blood Prince.
J.: I enjoyed all of them, too, but I think it would be The Order of the Phoenix, because Sirius dies.
S.: Prisoner of Azkaban, because I am a sucker for time travel and Sirius Black.
J.: The Goblet of Fire!!
Least favourite film?
S.: One of the Deathly Hallows, I think it was the first one I really disliked.
J.: The Prisoner of Askaban. (S.: See? I never understood why people would prefer Deathly Hallows Part 1 to The Prisoner of Azkaban, I just don’t get it :D)
S.: Unpopular opinion: Draco Malfoy. I just think he’s a great complex character. I also remember liking him when I read the book the first time when I was 6. With him my whole “I like the bad guys”-thing started.
J.: It’s definitely Ron Weasley!
Least favourite character?
S.: I meeean… it has to be Umbridge, doesn’t it?
J.: Greyback the werewolf
Favourite teacher at Hogwarts?
S.: Remus Lupin.
J.: Severus Snape.
Least favourite teacher at Hogwarts?
S.: Umbridge again. But I also didn’t like what was his name again… Slughorn!
J.: Gilderoy Lockhart.
If you could have played any character from the films who would it have been?
S.: I’d want to play Bellatrix. Which, now that I’m thinking of it, is quite stupid because I’d have to kill Sirius. But she would be so much fun to play I think.
J.: I also like Bellatrix’ character a lot, but I think it would be cool to play one of the Weasley twins.
Do you have any unpopular opinions about the series?
S.: Probably that I like Draco and I’m not a big fan of Harry Potter himself. Also I don’t like film-Ron and most of the people who only watched the films (I’m not judging :D) never understand that when I tell them but book readers may say the same? Also a lot of people didn’t like the Prisoner of Azkaban that much and I freakin love it.
J.: Maybe it’s an unpopular opinion don’t liking the Prisoner of Azkaban that much? 😉 (S.: Lol, J., I literally wrote one line above that people in general don’t seem to like it as much, so that doesn’t count as an unpopular opinion, it’s actually the opposite :D)
If you could save one character from the final battle who would it be?
S: I’d save Remus.
We are also not going to tag anyone but if you do decide to do the tag or have done it already, please let us know because we’d love to read your answers!
That’s all for today! See ya! *climbs on hippogriff and flies into sunset*
