Only 4 (or 5^^) days left until Christmas! Naturally, we had to do our annual get-together with our friend(s). We usually are a group of 4 girls but one of us is abroad atm, so we ended up to be only three. I (S.) have to admit that I completely forgot to take any pictures of anything – except a WhatsApp picture of my food for my family. Professional blogging right there that is.
We didn’t do much, we like to keep it simple, especially because we are not free from the prison that is uni yet, so we don’t have all the time in the world sadly. We had lunch at an Italian restaurant in town. Here’s where my food picture comes into play 😀 I had risotto with mushrooms and I think J. had tagliatelle with salmon, correct me if I’m wrong, J. 😀 (J: italian accent: Tagliateeeelle al salmoneeee) And our friend had gnocchi with salmon and spinach. It tasted amazing, so afterwards J. and I had to try their desserts and went for a chocolate soufflé with caramelized apricots and a tiramisu which we shared, so everyone could try each of the desserts. Amazing as well. (Edit J.: Completely full after it, but worth it :D)
We then went on to see where our friend lives now, which was very exciting because she’s recently moved house and we hadn’t been to her new place before. There we had what in German we call the “Bescherung”. It’s the time when everybody hands out their presents, receives theirs and opens them. If you want to know what we got each other for Christmas, you’ll actually have to wait until blogmas day 22 (unless you’re reading this in the future and the 22nd of December has already happened in which case you can click here if I don’t forget to add the link :D). Spoiler alert: they’re pretty cool presents.
So that’s it essentially! We had a nice time catching up, listening to Christmas music and just relaxing together which we hadn’t done in a long time, so it was much needed! 🙂
Sooooo…. I think we already tagged Holly before but guys. Look at this!!!! IT IS A FREAKIN NUTELLA CHRISTMAS TREE. You at least have to see it. So here you go, you’re welcome 😀
